Dear EAGALA Members,

Our upgraded EAGALA Community site and EAGALA website have been launched!  We look forward to you checking them out.

On this Community site, current members - please go into your My Account.  Click on the Edit tab, then the Profile tab.  In there you can mark your profession and interests as these didn't seem to migrate over from the old site.  This is important so you all can network with each other by finding folks through the Directory.  You can look for people based on location, profession, and interests!

There is also an expanded Search feature in the top right corner of the website.  This will search by keyword any of the content on the site.  So, if you are looking for message board posts on a specific topic, you can use that Search field.

We have also initiated a Groups function!  Please look and see if your network group area is there and then you can join that group to network with each other and keep up on the latest happenings, as well as post documents and pictures as part of your messages. 

You can also join Groups based on specialty topic, i.e. military, research, etc.

If you wish a group to be created if it is not there, feel free to contact me.

As with the Forum message board posts, you can receive Group and Forum postings in your email inbox if you choose to do so.  You can receive messages immediately, or as different digests, such as a daily digest, or longer.  You can click on a group or post and sign up that way.  Or you can go to My Account and click the tab on Notifications.
