Community and Web Sites being upgraded
We are excited to be making upgrades to the EAGALA community site and website. As a result, there will be some migration of the content going on starting Sunday May 2. This will result in the Community site not allowing anyone to post content starting Sunday May 2. This may last up to 3 days. We are sorry for this inconvenience!!
When the upgrade is complete, you will notice three primary changes to the Community site:
1. New profile information. You will need to re-input your city, state and country in My Account under Profile. You can also click on the map in your profile to place a marker on your location. Everything else should remain intact. The new profile upgrade is going to allow for a better search function allowing folks to find you even better based on your interests, specializations, etc.!
2. Improved Search function.
3. Groups function. This will be a place on the Community site for EAGALA Networking groups around the world to network with each other through a message board, and the ability to post pictures and documents just within your own group! And like the message board, you can specify to receive any postings made in your Group to come to your email inbox to keep you notified of things going on in your area.
New Updated EAGALA WEBSITE
The regular website is also being upgraded. With this, we hope the information is better organized on the site. We are especially excited about the Find a Program feature for our certified members!
The new website has a feature for translation. We will work with our international networking groups to assist in translating our web pages. Folks can click on a country flag to bring up the translation when this stage is implemented.
As with any new technology, we may encounter some bugs along the way and there will be ongoing improvements with additional stages of work to be done. We look forward to hearing from you, keeping us updated if you encounter any problems, and also letting us know if you have any feedback! We will be announcing to the membership when the new sites will be officially launched which should occur this week.
Thanks for all your support, and your patience with our upgrading!
